Having spent 30+ years in sales I really want to help new and existing salespeople develop and advance their careers in the best way possible, by selling more!
Do you meet people in sales from whom you buy, despite their poor skills and communication? You buy because you are in the shop etc. and you have essentially sold the item to yourself anyway?
We all know salespeople like this that let down the profession by not knowing their product and pricing let alone how to manage a sales and close the deal. Just try your local car dealer!
I want to pass on the hard-won knowledge I have gained over the years and how I have always managed to be the top salesperson wherever I have worked and latterly in the businesses I have started.
There are a number of key factors to great sales but they will be slightly different for each person and their industry which is why mentoring become so attractive to me. There is no catchall solution.
If I can pass on some my knowledge to a mentee that helps them achieve more sales then I will be very happy for them and for me!
