Experience Description:
I use a technique for Actors so they can access their internal emotions and use them in front of the camera. I learned this technique in a 6 week workshop in Maine USA and have used it with many actors both Australian and Indonesian. I even used it with Marcel Marceau, a famous Mime Artist, during a shoot in Mexico City. He said he found very helpful.

After being named as Professional Photographer of the Year in 1984 it was time for a change.
A short stint as a Director of Photography showed me that it takes more than good visuals to make a good film.
A six week Directors Workshop in Maine USA was the foundation for a successful 2nd career as a freelance Director, making TV commercials.
When the ass fell out of the business in Australia, after the 1987 financial crash, I moved to Jakarta and made heaps of commercials and corporate films.
Around 1997 the Financial Crisis fell heavily on Indonesia. I moved back to Sydney in 2003 to care for my Mum.
I am now back in Jakarta, retired and re-writing a couple screenplays I started writing when things got quiet during the 1990s. I’m also writing a Novel.
