Meet in Person
My name is Mark Jennings, and I am a 37 year old living and working in Bunbury, in the South West corner of Western Australia. After completing my schooling I attended Edith Cowan University and completed a Bachelor of Business with a double major in Accounting and Public Practice. Since completing that in 2002, I have spent 15 years working in various professional roles, with a focus on accounting, bookkeeping and business training. Currently I run a small bookkeeping and business training business called Business Books South West, with two casual staff assisting me.
In the last 15 years I have worked across a number of industries and business types and specialise in working in the community or not for profit sector. For the last 10 years I have been treasurer of a community group with a focus on young people, and for 20 years have been a lay minister in the Catholic Church, assisting with youth ministry, event management and planning, music ministry and financial affairs.
Away from work I am a musician, sports umpire, occasional sailor, socializer and love meeting new people and having new experiences.
As someone who has started a business from scratch and now employs staff plus has extensive experience in business and community fields I can assist potential mentees with support and guidance on their business journey.
