This body was initiated in Jan 2004 and was fully chartered in Feb 2007. PMAP is a professional national representative body registered with International Project Management Association (IPMA) and Asia Pacific Federation of Project Management (APFPM). ASIA PACIFIC FEDERATION OF PROJECT MANAGERS (APFPM) January 2005 – December 2006 (2 years) Vice Chair APFPM (Asia Pacific Federation of Project Managers) at APFPM (Non-Profit; 501-1000 employees; Non-Profit Organization Management industry) Vice Chair of Asia Pacific Forum of Project Managers in 2005. This professional body is developing body of knowledge for project managers in Asia Pacific with special orientation towards the local culture in the region. 2003 – Present (13 years) Country Representative Pakistan, APFPM at Asia Pacific Federation of Project Management (Non-Profit; 51-200 employees; Non-Profit Organization Management industry) APFPM is a representative body of Project Managers in Asia Pacific. It was initially supported by AIPM Australia and have now become an independent body looking after the cultural and environmental impact on PM practices in the region. Each of the representative countries have ONE member in APFPM and an effort is underway to develop a set of guidelines and a Body of Knowledge.
