Experience Description: As a futuristic thinker and business strategist, I have a strong interest in creating a profitable future through positive social impact. My day to day job is to help businesses and professionals think bigger and be future ready. Trained initially as a medical researcher, I have worked in multiple industries and across sectors. Some of my career highlights includes delivering multi-million dollar government projects, leading state-level budget and bid submissions and authoring opinion and options papers that contributed to community safety framework and policies. Having travelled to over 20 countries in the past 10 years, I also have extensive experience in training and delivering grassroots initiatives. My advocacy work for equity, diversity and inclusion has resulted in me chairing and hosting an international summit at the United Nations in July 2018 during which 380 delegates from over 50 countries gathered in New York to discuss practical strategies to advance gender equality. I currently sit on 2 company boards and chair committees.
Based in Melbourne, Australia, I am a business strategist specialised in futuristic thinking. I manage a consulting firm, Notonos Global and work with businesses and professionals to “join the dots”, stay market relevant and be future ready.
I have had an interesting and fun career. With a doctoral degree under my belt, I started out as a medical researcher working in hospitals managing clinical trials. This position fulfilled my thirst for knowledge and my intellectual curiosity.
Several years later an opportunity came up for me to join the emergency management sector. My time with the state government saw me delivering multi-million dollar projects, leading state-level budget and bid submissions and authoring opinion and options papers that contributed to community safety framework and policies.
All these valuable experiences eventually led me to set up my own strategy consulting firm, Notonos Global, where I can apply my futuristic thinking and challenge my clients to stay market relevant and profitable through positive social impact.
I am also a strong advocate for an equitable and inclusive future. My interest in this area has led me to chairing and hosting an international summit on gender equality in July 2018 at the United Nations in New York City (see image below).
I am a life-long learner and believe in sharing my experience and knowledge with others. Over the years, I have mentored young professionals and supported executives in achieving their goals. I currently sit on 2 company boards and chair 2 committees.
I believe I can bring value to my mentees through my diverse professional and life experiences. I am passionate about life and I am genuinely excited about the possibilities that the future may hold for us. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and exploring those opportunities with my mentees.
