Outside of the office, I am profoundly involved in the T1D community since 2007; participating in and leading many fundraising events in order to raise money to find a cure for Type One diabetes. I’m born and bred in The Netherlands and came in 2005 to Australia where I still live together with my wife and two daughters. I have about 30 years of experience in business, I’m multilingual with an international focus. Since 1997 I have been operating on Board level (COO and CEO) in Europe (Netherlands, Belgium and Germany), US (Boston, Massachusetts) and in Australia (WA, QLD, NSW, VIC and SA). I am currently a global technical manager in TmaxSoft, communicating with global partners around the world to enhance their information technology and system and improve business performance.
I lived in Jakarta for about 12 years and graduated from international high school. As I have been continuously resided and educated in global environment for 17 years including 5 years in US, I am highly adaptable to multicultural workforce and new community.
Although my career expertise is IT, I primarily would like to help my Mentees improve skills specifically in communication, leadership, and co-working. During my college year, I was Vice President of Beta Alpha, one of the top student organizations in the campus. I leaded more than 200 members for their career development by executing professional events, career fairs, and so on. On top of the mentioned skills, for someone whose English is not native language, I would like to enhance their English capability as well. My goal is to advance my Mentees to the on global stage and be leaders in their country.
