My name is Andrew Latham. I worked in the Energy business for 42 years, in 26 different countries. I also have a lot of experience in mentoring programs, having helped to establish mentoring programs at a major corporation, and having personally mentored many people in areas such as technical skills, career planning, personal skills development, personal confidence building and public speaking. I enjoy the role of mentor in that it connects me to so many interesting people and different experiences and viewpoints. I have learned as much or more that I have been able to give over the years and I consider mentoring to be one of the most enjoyable experiences of my career.
Now I am retired and, while I do miss the corporate world somewhat, it does give me more time for doing the things I enjoy like mentoring, providing time to charities and Non-profits, landscape gardening and travel.
I can help you with everything related to management methodologies and product development, how to transform your product creation process from traditional approaches to agile approaches. I can help you raise agile scaling model
I’m born and bred in The Netherlands and came in 2005 to Australia where I still live together with my wife and two daughters. I have about 30 years of experience in business, I’m multilingual with an international focus. Since 1997 I have been operating on Board level (COO and CEO) in Europe (Netherlands, Belgium and Germany), US (Boston, Massachusetts) and in Australia (WA, QLD, NSW, VIC and SA). I consider myself as an experienced manager, leader and strategist.
My passion is to build and grow companies. Whether it is a start-up or a mature company, the challenges to become or stay relevant are pivotal to any business. I have been involved as CEO of Technology Parks and incubators in many companies in a variety of industries, and I became sector agnostic. Since the last 7 years I became more and more involved with not for profit or for benefit organisations, which I find very inspiring and give me the opportunity to give back to society.
I have been mentoring businesses and individuals over the years, which I enjoy very much. I have met so many interesting people and some I can call friend now. I’m a big believer in innovation, collaboration and diversity and mentoring is an excellent way to support this.
If you have a problem of giving the results expected by your firm, or have a problem beyond your control, let’s have a chat. I may be able to give you a kick start.
My experience is broad and I have achieved my stated successes against many physical, emotional and prejudicial barriers.
Nothing worthwhile is easy or quick.
Carina certainly comes across as a professional. Yet her personal touch often surprises her clients: she means business without taking things too seriously, while being a firm believer of earning great reasons to celebrate.
