I have vast experince in hotel openings as I had the priviledge to open Luxury hotels, Business hotels, Thermal & Spa hotels in Turkey, Europe and North Africa. I have learned to manage complex hotel projects which involve tedious work with specifications and different parties & companies involved.
I also hold a Ph.D., degree in Business Management, my field of work covers Startegic HR, Strategic Finance, Leadership, Emotional Intelligence, Research Methodology. I have published total of 16 academic articles mainly dealing with hotel business in Turkey as well as the eduction system of the country.

I’m born and bred in The Netherlands and came in 2005 to Australia where I still live together with my wife and two daughters. I have about 30 years of experience in business, I’m multilingual with an international focus. Since 1997 I have been operating on Board level (COO and CEO) in Europe (Netherlands, Belgium and Germany), US (Boston, Massachusetts) and in Australia (WA, QLD, NSW, VIC and SA). I consider myself as an experienced manager, leader and strategist.

I have been involved as CEO of Technology Parks and incubators in many companies in a variety of industries, and I became sector agnostic. I’ve been teaching and researching interdisciplinary studies for forty years, and came up with the Story Clinic as a way of combining and focusing one’s understanding of participating in and being alive. Being alive is an astounding gift, and sharing that gift at many levels is what counts. A story told and heard is that gift shared.
