I’ve been teaching and researching interdisciplinary studies for forty years, and came up with the Story Clinic as a way of combining and focusing one’s understanding of participating in and being alive. Being alive is an astounding gift, and sharing that gift at many levels is what counts. A story told and heard is that gift shared. Whether intellectual, managerial, emotional or health-related, getting to the underlying story is my field of expertise.
Very eclectic experience. Since childhood exposed to multi-culturality. At 9 years of age travelled alone to India. At 14 he had already met Thailand, China, Macau and Hong Kong. At 16, he went to live in Denmark. The sum of these experiences led him to graduate in International Relations. Later, Master in Media & Cultural Analysis, discovering a new passion: research; Master’s degree in International Relations, MBA and PhD candidate in Management (research topic: “The Sharing Economy”); published articles in specialized journals; lecturer in executive education schools (Brazil and Portugal); Speaker at conferences on Leadership and The Sharing Economy in Dubrovnik (Croatia), Athens (Greece) and Vienna (Austria); Consultant in Leadership and associated to a Brazilian company focused on impact activities.

If you’re a doctor, my credentials are clear and I can assist with planning future career paths and work/life balance issues. Sadly I’ve looked after many doctors professionally, and would prefer to assist doctors on a mentorship basis before psychosocial issues become mental health issues.
If you’re not a doctor, I’d probably be most useful to you if you’re a little bit older, having tried a few things, and wanting to take stock of what you’ve accomplished and what else lies in store for you.
My knowledge base is in several eclectic domains, but the fundamental unifying basis is listening. I’ll do my best to listen to what you need, and help you to hear it too. Within a mentoring paradigm I would not be your psychiatrist, but will work with the aim that both of us come away from the experience having learned something.
